Where death is not a taboo

MúzeumCafé 3.

One can sometimes be surprised. On a cold, foggy winter day, for example, you go to the Museum of Reverence in the Kerepesi Cemetery and would not admit even to yourself to shuddering in advance at the sight which might await you – coffins, shrouds, mourning garments, etc. Then, if it did not reverberate with too much pathos, you could say you meet life instead of death. Of course, you would do well to knock on the door of museum director Emil Hargittai and ask him to guide you around the halls. This 80-year-old, forever young engineer has directed the museum for ten years.
