Attila Zongor is perhaps more than a patron. KulturPont Office he set up eight years ago helps find opportunities for EU applications, giving advice on how to meet the severe requirements. Now, on the occasion of the Year of the Renaissance, the Office has launched joint projects and, to mark the Year of the Bible, with its cooperation a Bible exhibition is opening in the autumn in the National Széchényi Library. Practical advice for applicants? Participation in programmes can be done in two ways: you either apply as the main organiser and look for partners for the project or search (perhaps abroad) for a chief organiser to help implement your ideas. The Office can be of help to all in looking for a partner, in the technical execution of an application, and in writing and presenting the application according to the rules. There have been examples in Hungary when someone set off as a co-organiser and in a few years has successfully applied as a chief organiser, having in the meantime gained much experience.
